It's a well written and realistic story involving Chinese spies conspiring to steal a sophisticated artificial intelligence and a plot to bring down President Ryan. Cameron also excels at developing his characters, including his original, non-Clancy characters. His books also have a little less action than Greaney's, but a heavier focus on espionage spycraft and law enforcement.
Cameron's prose comes very close to replicating Clancy's voice, and he writes slow building plots involving disparate threads that slowly weave together. They actually read like something Clancy himself may have written.
